Polly Betton
Polly Betton is one of London’s premier party planners. With her company Teatime Production, she creates extraordinary experiences – from the intimate to the monumental – that are talked about long after the last glass has been cleared away.
There is no idea too outlandish and no brief too overwhelming for Polly. Whether she’s planning a huge corporate or celebrity gathering or a birthday party on shoestring, Polly can create the perfect event. Some of her recent projects include miniature pancake landscapes for Lyle’s syrups, a movement-reactive indoor forest for Intel and Vice magazine’s collaboration The Creators Project, a two year series of lavish country house parties for Stoke Place hotel. She has even recreated a spring meadow, complete with real turf and live spring lambs, in the ballroom of a stately home as part of an event for a private client.
In October 2011 Polly’s book Party!: How to Organise a Brilliant Bash was published by Kyle Cathie and syndicated by the Sunday Times Style magazine.
Polly co-hosted Schweppes' Social Monarchs campaign (in partnership with the Telegraph) for the Jubilee alongside Royal photographer Hugo Burnand, worked on Brita's Summer Entertaining campaign (in partnership with the Guardian) and featured in Remy Martin's 'One Night In... London' app and guide.
