Lily Vanilli joins Yellow Poppy

Lily Jones (aka Vanilli) has joined the Yellow Poppy family. She is alternately described as one of Britain's best-loved artisan bakers and the Queen of Cakes. Self taught, she started out in 2008 and created an industry leading brand with a pioneering approach to baking and running a food business.

She now consults for brands in the UK and overseas, developing recipes and concepts or as a brand ambassador. She is a co-founder of the industry leading YBF Awards (now in it's 8th year) and the fundraising campaign #BakeForSyria.

She is the author of three best selling recipe books including last year’s #BakeForSyria book, whick donated all proceeds to support children displaced by the war.

She has a bakery on London's Columbia Road which has been busy since it's opening in 2010 and her bespoke cake and canapé business is a huge celebrity favourite with clients such as Elton John, Madonna, FKA Twigs, Kate Moss, 10 Downing Street, Nigel Slater and Jamie Oliver.

She recently opened a second store in Tbilisi, Georgia and launched an afternoon tea concept in Nanjing, China.
