Great British Sewing Bee Winner Serena Barker Joins Yellow Poppy

We're delighted to welcome 2021's Great British Sewing Bee winner Serena Baker to the Yellow Poppy family.

Serena is the youngest ever Sewing Bee winner, honing and developing her unique skill and flair over the course of the series. When she was announced the series winner, judge Esme Young said:

“I have this thing about really, really, really talented sewers. They have fairy dust that they throw over the garment and it doesn’t even look like it’s been touched by human hands. That’s what your sewing is like.”

Serena has a particular passion for sustainable fashion, helping people adapt clothes they already own or ones that they have acquired second hand. She shares her love of sewing with fans on her Instagram - @serenasews_
